About Us

Penascos Mexican Restaurant opened in November 2006 and is the Maricopa’s best Mexican food restaurant.  Penascos is named after the popular vacation beach town of Puerto Penasco Mexico.  The name symbolizes the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere of Puerto Penasco and provides our patrons with an escape from the everyday burdens of life.  Our goal is to provide you and your family the most pleasing dining experience possible with the highest quality homemade Mexican food recipes.

Rosalinda O’Hare is the owner and the recipes are a combination of what she learned while growing up in Guadalupe, Arizona and what she has learned over the years.  She is passionate about her restaurant and makes herself available to speak with customers frequently.  Rose's husband Sean is also involved in the restaurant but  mostly from an eating and tasting perspective!  :)  Sean is regularly at the restaurant on Friday nights bartending.
